Site Licence
In February 2019, Tradebe Inutec’s Winfrith site became the first new nuclear licenced operating site in 15 years. The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) take the lead on site regulation, focusing on conventional health and safety as well as our radioactive treatment processing. Our regulators, customers and local stakeholders all demand high performance in all SSHEQ areas.
ISO Standards and PROUD
Our SSHEQ performance is underpinned by independently certified ISO standards and our integrated management system supports the delivery of bespoke waste processing solutions. We share best practice with other Tradebe companies and use our own PROUD approach to safety to reinforce the standards and behaviours needed to deliver a positive SSHEQ culture.
RoSPA Order of Distinction
In recognition of our practices and achievements in helping our staff, clients and contractors stay safe and secure, Tradebe Inutec holds a prestigious Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Order of Distinction. This outstanding award recognises the securing of 17 consecutive years of RoSPA Gold Awards. Tradebe Inutec is the only nuclear UK waste processing company to hold an Order of Distinction.
